About George Perdue
After volunteering to be a student for an artist friend, George began to paint. He was surprised by how much he enjoyed the experience. He has acquired an appreciation for an ever-increasing spectrum of approaches and styles. Ever inquisitive he reads about art, visits galleries and exhibits, revisits the haunts of youth, but is always experimenting. A Canadian artist and oil painter, he works equally in the studio and in plein air. In recent years he has been making painting trips with other artists. This practice, along with teaching, has provided a constant source of inspiration. The journey to date has been interesting and we know not where it wants to go.
My Brother is a Guitar maker. He has provided me with a sturdy, light, flexible paint box for my travels. I have turned to using it in most plein air situations. He is now offering it to other artists and has a deal on it through the end of 2013.
The box is a panel holder and palette. It will hold panels up to 16x20 and more.
